Privacy Policy & AI Voice Consent

You must only record or upload voice samples that you own or have explicit, verifiable permission to use. By submitting a voice sample, you confirm that you are the owner of that voice or hold the necessary rights to use it for AI synthesis.

Using another person's voice without their informed consent is a violation of these terms and may constitute fraud or identity theft under applicable law.

By uploading or recording a reference voice, you confirm that:

• You are the person whose voice is being recorded, or • You have explicit, written authorization from the voice owner to use their voice for AI synthesis through this platform

VoiceForge does not verify ownership of voice samples. Responsibility for obtaining proper consent rests entirely with the user.

Voice samples are transmitted securely and processed by our AI speech synthesis engine. Processing occurs in isolated, encrypted environments.

Reference voice data is stored only as long as necessary to provide the service. Generated audio is stored in your account and accessible only to you.

We do not share, sell, or use your voice data for training AI models without explicit, separate opt-in consent. Your voice data is never used to improve models used by other users.

You can delete your voice samples and generated audio at any time from Profile & Settings → Voice & Privacy.

Upon deletion, your voice data is permanently removed from our storage systems within 7 days. Backup copies may exist for up to 30 days for disaster recovery purposes, after which they are also deleted.

You can request complete account deletion, which removes all associated data, through Profile & Settings → Account Actions.

The following uses of VoiceForge are strictly prohibited:

• Impersonating any real person, public figure, or private individual without consent • Creating fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading audio content • Generating speech intended to harass, threaten, or harm any person • Using synthesized speech in ways that violate applicable laws • Attempting to clone or replicate the voice of a minor • Creating non-consensual intimate audio content • Using the platform for political disinformation or electoral manipulation • Reverse engineering or extracting the underlying AI models

Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

All contributions made through VoiceForge are voluntary. 50% of every contribution is allocated to CRY (Child Rights and You), a registered NGO in India.

VoiceForge operates independently. CRY does not endorse, sponsor, or partner with VoiceForge. The 50% allocation to CRY is a unilateral commitment by VoiceForge.

Contribution breakdowns are displayed clearly before any payment is processed. Contributions are non-refundable except in cases of technical error. Receipts are available in your Contribution History.

VoiceForge uses artificial intelligence to clone and synthesize speech. The resulting audio is AI-generated and should be identified as such in any public use.

AI-generated speech can sound highly realistic. Users are responsible for clearly labelling any AI-generated audio they publish, distribute, or share in contexts where the synthetic nature might not be obvious to listeners.
